I would just like to start off by saying that I am in love with this show, wholly, truly, madly, deeply, etc. I would like to follow that with by saying that I HATE YOU FOR MAKING ME CRY OVER FICTIONAL EVENTS. But McDreamy is really hot, so its okay. A+, kids, A+.

I can just see a new Cardio Wing added to Seattle Grace...maybe the Denny Duquette Wing?...Derrick did the right thing, as did Meredith, and the dance continues...what is Callie doing - I guess you have to be a chick to understand...btw, the writers on this show have to let the Denny thing go now!!!! No more tear jerking scenes, as Canadians we are very empathetic people, but we can't take anymore - it was a great message Denny left, and Izzy is an unbelievable character!

I just wanted to say that I absolutely loved last nights episode! It made me laugh and it made me cry. Loved Meredith on morphine and loved the conversation between her and Addison.

Last night's episode was SO GREAT! My friends and I watched it a second time as soon as we were finished watching the first time. Talk about a great first seven minutes of a show. And Mer on drugs! WOW! Well written and acted! You guys never dissapoint me, and I can't say that for any other show on TV!

More flashbacks from New York when Addi and Derek were together. I loved those flashbacks.

Can you bring Denny back as a ghost or in Izzy's dreams?? Haha. Maybe he had a twin brother named Lenny!! Yeah!!

George needs someone besides Callie!!! Not one of the hobag nurses either. Have him hit on a girl in a bar and act even more like a man.

I like when you show Izzy/mer/George as a family. It's sweet and so true with real friends.

Lastly to reiterate, just get Der/Mer together so we can stop this insanity. I think I am getting gray hairs from the anxiety. You know even if they are together you can still make it all dramatic like you do with Burke/Christina. It will be great!

I liked the episode, didn't love it because of the Derek thing. I thought Addison was gorgeous as usual. She is an amazing actress, keep her around.

Oh and maybe her and Mer could actually become friends?? You know that happens in real life. I am friends with my bf's exes. It works.

wow what a great episode, i gotta admit-i am happy meredith picked mcdreamy-but why did it have to be after he started to act like an idiot and be all noble and let her go! and denny! it was sooo nice to hear his voice again! and mcsteamy and callie! that was pretty hot! can't wait to read the blog

It breaks my heart a little when I see people throwing stones at the writers when storylines don't please the audience. But what I love about you writers is that you're not trying to please anybody. Shonda, I don't know my opinion holds any weight, but I think you are a true writer. You're characters are who they are. You've created them, but now they are living their own lives. That is what I've always loved about literature, about movies. I'm surprised I've found something on tv that has that. It has been so long.

So, despite the fact that "Merder" lovers are upset, it's very real to life. Thank you for taking time to pause, time to examine all aspects of this very complicated relationship both Meredith and Derek have been involved in. It wouldn't be as special if they didn't pause the way we all do. To just see all the options. To walk away because you love them enough. Because you think that would save them from future pain. I have full faith in the writing staff, so thank you. And thank you for your blogging here. It's so great to hear your voices-- whatever stress you may feel, you always relieve ours.

I enjoyed last night's episode, but there were so many things that made me go, huh?

1.) Why would a woman refuse a C-Section to the detriment of her health or her baby's health? I don't think that is realistic.

2.) Why did Meredith keep refering to ALL her boyfriends when McDreamy, McVet, AND George were in the room. She thinks of George as a boyfriend?

3.) Why did Mere pick Derrick? He hurt her AGAIN! And McVet is the better man.

4.) Why does George keep upsetting the applecart where Callie is concerned? She is hot and in love with him. How much easier can it get? What more does he want?

OMGoodness. I loved it. Except for the whole McDreamy part. I want Meredith to be with McDreamy, and when he told her that he was walking away, I wasn't sure why. I screamed at the tv. I can't bear to watch McDreamy hurt Meredith again. No more pain...at least for a little while. And I miss Finn. Already. Because he is a good guy. And because he's right...Derek will hurt Meredith again, and he won't be there. :(

HOLY CRAP Denny's message made me cry. :( It's so sad. I love him. Why, oh why is he gone. And his dad...perfect. Loved him. And HOLY CRAP about the check for Izzy...geez!

I hope Burke's hand gets better...I hope Cristina's plan to hold the vessel works...but I don't know how it will...

I love McSteamy. I hope him and Addison hook up and stay hooked up. I hate that he's so arrogant, but love that he's giving Alex a taste of how he treats people.

I want to comment on Derek "walking away." Derek felt that Meredith deserved better--as the Chief felt about her mom--and thus took it upon himself to make the decision for her. This obviously had the opposite effect, for it led Meredith to choose him. She realized that she can't live without Derek, and this really demonstrated how the heart can overrule the mind. She had been going back and forth trying to *reason* whom she should choose, but in the end, it had nothing to do with reason. Her brain tells her that Finn is a great guy, and the *better* guy, but her heart tells her that Derek is the one. I thought this was executed beautifully.

Oh thank God - I thought you forgot! Loved the episode, felt like Denny finally got his chance to say "Goodbye" ...(tear jerker). How exactly does McSteamy make me hate him for being SUCH a jerk ...but yet make me go 'mmmm'. Merdith high was classic! So funny! Bailey needs to toughen up - she's still too soft...for Bailey. McDreamy walked away....jerk - but I suppose it was a good call, because it made Mer realize how much she wants him. Dont know about that one though...if he hurts her ...i will convert to a ...(can't believe i'm going to say it)....a McVet fan.
