Thanks for putting up more answers, Shonda. Since you mentioned that you really do read every single comment here-I just wanted you to know that once upon a time, I aspired to be a screenwriter and put those dreams aside when my first child was born. Three children later, I have been so impressed with your story, your writing, and your success with Grey's Anatomy; that I've started writing again. Who knows if anything will come of it-but thanks for inspiring me to get back in the game.
Hello Shonda,
Hope you are having a wonderful summer. Congratulations on creating such an amazing show! I love it! Thank you as well. As a fellow AA woman in Hollywood I am so proud of your talent, accomplishments, accolades and success! The beautiful humanity on your show is PERFECTION.
I can't wait for Season 3 of Grey's and for you to start casting your new show as well.
I hope this is not too forward and/or inappropriate but I read that you read all of the blog posts...please forgive me if it is. I just would LOVE to work with you.
PS I too loved Denny and was sad that he died. I felt for poor Izzie! I loved them together.
I love Burke as well and really love Burketina in all of their emotional dysfunction!
Sincerely,
Allison Dean

Shonda,
Thank you sooooo much for answering those FAQ's they made my day. You are officially my hero, because now I have a shred of something to hold on to until the season three premiere. :-). I seriously love you (not in a creepy way.), you and the cast, and the writers, and the crew, and the music director, you are all amazing. And if you were never around then Grey's would have never changed my life. You all are great!!!!! THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU.
I have a question and I wasn't quite sure where else to ask it so I came here!!! Okay here it goes. How exactly did the "setting" of Grey's Anatomy get set in Seattle? I mean honestly because I live in WA and don't get me wrong or anything I LOVE Seattle and their ferry boats but, I just couldn't make the connection myself. So if you could answer it would be greatly appreciated!! Thank You!!
Waooo!! Thank You.I from Puerto Rico and I LOVE Grey's Anatomy. I can't wait to season 3. I'm falling in love, too much, especially of Mer and Der (beautiful couple). Thank you Shonda, bye.
thank you so much for the music selections on this show. you have inspired me to become a true fan of indie music and really look into all the great artists in that genre.
Thanks Shonda! It gave us a little something we greatly needed. I hate the summer and I hate we have to wait till fall to see the new season..lol. BTW, ABC has it that the new season premieres on Thursday, September 21 @ 9/8c.
Thank you so much for more FAQs. I do have a question, though, what sound stage and in what studio is the show shot? And is it at all possible to get a studio tour of it? I've been on other studio tours and seen other sets (like ER, West Wing, and Gilmore Girls at Warner Bros in LA). I was just wondering if it was possible to see the set of my most favourite show in the entire world :).
I know you all don't have any jobs avaliable, but how about interships? I'm majoring in english/writting and theatre design and I would love to get into television. Any suggestions?
Hey those are AWESOME! And I know where to get Izzie's prom dress! I spent AGNOZING hours tracking it down.
Just kidding. I was reading TV Guide, and they have that As Seen On page, and it said it was a custom made Amsale dress. So, I went on the site (www.amsale.com) and looked through the dresses and I found it.
I suppose you guys had it dyed that gorgeous color though.
But still, thought I'd be helpful and post it here, since I figured you'd read it. :]
Shonda, You truely are the best! I've not missed any episode of the show. I love them all, I love the characters and I just want to say: keep up the good work!
I am so sorry you are moving this fall. we will be unable to watch Grey Anatomy since its opposite CSI Las Vegas. The most watch show in TV. I think you are making a serious mistake.
Shonda, I'm glad your FAQ spoke about the show timeline. I was a little disappointed that the internship seemed to be lasting more than a year and that our characters skipped Step 3 boards (so much of a physician's life--esp young physicians--is ruled by big tests, I would hate for our characters to miss out on that). I guess in season 3/4 (when the interns become residents) we get to see what speciality (or general) of surgery they pick. It sounds exciting.
OMG YAY! I am so excited there will be a soundtrack for season 2. The music is one of the strengths of this show, as well as one of the things that make it unique. I've been hoping you all would do that! :)
Thank you so much for taking the time Shonda! I can't wait for Season 3!

Why does everybody on the show use cell phones inside of Seattle Grace Hospital? Don't they interfere with the medical equipment?

Thanks so much, Shonda! I'm going crazy without my Grey's here, but you always give us something to look forward to. Thanks again.
