You've got questions, we've got answers...

As some of you have already discovered, Shonda took the time last weekend to answer many of the "frequently asked questions" that have been posed to her over the last few weeks.  You can find the new FAQ here:

http://abc.go.com/primetime/greysanatomy/faq.html

It's a work in progress that she hopes to keep updating as the season progresses, and definitely worth checking out.

Cool! Thanks for adding the FAQ section to this website...it pretty much KILLS all the other TV shows websites...I mean its like the fans and writers are all one big family with Grey's Anatomy. I know that when the show unfortunately ends every Sunday night I still have the music guide and blogs to read over. That's really something special that GA has...Anyway, I was watching Season 1 and I had forgotten about that episode when Meredith has to carry the penis around all day because the rape victim bite it off...yeah and how Mer had the same shoes as that girl..I WANT THOSE SHOES! THEY ARE AMAZING! Could you find out what brand they are? I think I've seen them before..I'm thinking they are Cole Haan but I'm not sure..and also I love Meredith's bag she carries on the show....its beige with brown handles..if you happen to know those brands, that would be awesome!!! I LOVE THE SHOW SO VERY MUCH AND ONLY 1 MORE DAY WITHOUT GREY'S ANATOMY! HOLLA!
XOXO,
Molly Neal :)

I've said it before, but it should be said again--you're awesome!!

:-) Thanks for the FAQs.
Ps. We all love Eric Dane!! Just thought you should know that he's quite an acceptable McHottie!

Alli

Are we gonna get another update about the rest of the episode on Sunday?

Kelly

Is Mark going to be around again any time soon??????

lindsay

I know that right now you are not showing what is going to happen to Meredith and Derek but in the meantime can you PLEASE put them in a couple of scenes together? Once a show isn't enough! We're dying here!

I read the blog. I knew as soon as the shirt came off it was the...well the kiss of death because the kiss never happened. There was no tentative questioning in the form of a kiss. The writers are not making Meredith a whore as some are complaining...they are making her human. I'm sorry that some of you have gotten so used to one-dimensional writing from watching life time and soap operas but humans are complex and not so nice creatures that do not so nice things for reasons that are just as complex. Haven't you? It is sad and it breaks hearts but people sometimes crawl into each other like hermit crabs looking for a home bigger and stronger than their soft shelled selves. Unfortunately for George he provided a safe exoskeleton that was ready to be inhabited. Calm down...everything will work out in the end...its television y'all.

Shonda is awesome...who else treats their fans so well??? :)

Kat

Seriously....

I want to thank you, Shonda, and the other writers for being so interactive with the fans. I know we are a little (A LOT) hysterical, but its so appreciated!!

kate

Thanks Shonda! I think im speaking for all us of when I say that we really appreciate it!

I love Grey's Anatomy. It's so well written and cleverly funny. I look forward to watching my favorite show on Sunday evenings.

I just have one comment. Isiah Washington is a gorgeous black man. He's beautiful, talented, charismatic and a great actor! Is there anyway possible that his makeup could be adjusted to a brown instead of the black that sometimes does not match his complexion? I am really not trying to be rude, really not. But it makes him look two-toned because his face does not match his neck.

Cannot wait for Sunday's episode.

Thank you.

Erica

Allie

oh my gosh, thank you so much Shonda! This and the blogs kind of makes me feel that we're communicating with you in a way... makes me love this show even more. The creator and writers actually take time to read and listen to what we say, just want to say thanks again!

*Much love*

Question: I came to Seattle Grace at the start of Season 2 and absolutely love it. I'm now playing catch up with my DVDs from Season 1. How much time has passed since the interns first started the program?

Lynn

Love the show!! Great cast - great writers - could use a little more accuracy in the medical terminology (what can I say - former ICU nurse).

I was thinking back on my hospital time and the unusual situations that came up and was trying to find a way to contact the writers with several of these - anyway one of the more serious situations that came up - was a fire in the OR on the patient ignited by flammable gases in the surgical suite- Might make for a great epidsode. Could you pass on the idea - I would be glad to send info on this type of hospital accident if needed.
Thanks L

Nice. Thank you! Good stuff.

What exactly is Addison's title? ob/gyn? She seems to treat a variety of things...

Nadine

I really think That merideth and derick need to get back together. That is the show and please bring Mc.Steamy back. You seriously need to get rid off Addison-sheppard. Thanks

Holly

It's a wonderfully great idea!

I was just reading the FAQ and I was so excited, I thought I'd come over and let everyone know in case any had missed it like I had, and what do I see? Of course, the announcement of it.

I love the website. If you could just make the shut off the music button *bigger* or maybe make it stick from page to page... I was listening to the podcast and.. I had to keep turning off the music every time I changed pages (yes i was multitasking, but cheer up, I was also trying to hook our receptionist on the show while I was at it.)

so thanks to Shonda for reading the questions and for answering and also thanks Eric for letting us know. (are you a PA? what do PA's do anyway? who approves the comment posts? look! more questions!)

Kristin

Shonda -

Thank you for the outstanding FAQ! And thank you so much for such a great show!

PamelaJaye

I wouldn't want this to be an *in*frequently asked question so let me echo it

How much time has passed since the interns first started the program?

the thing is, I know it was shot some time or other, and then it was a midseason, and i hate to get too real world here, but when do interns actually start (anyone)? are our interns still first year? cause the show will have been airing a year.. when? March? are we going to synch up with real seasons or are we going to have Presidential Elections on May, like on the West Wing? Just wanting to know. The interns definitely seem a lot more.. well less terrified now, and perhaps, less "being taught" than at first. (and I'm actually watching the first seasons of ER again. don't ask me why. I saw a listing for the Pilot and I had an urge)

Thank you guys for all you do! It's amazing you have time to come hang with us on the blog once a week considering how busy you have to be!! I truly think the insight you guys/gals give about the show on this blog, it what makes it such a personable show. It's awesome reading how you come up with certain episodes, music or situations... Or how something in your own life played a part on the show. You have no idea how much I look forward to Sunday evenings now. :)

NOW WE JUST NEED A BLOG CALLED --- GAAA - Greys Anatomy Addicts Anonymous.

YOUR A TRUE MONKEY ON MY BACK AND I LOVE IT! hahaha!

Jen

Cool! Thanks for everything, Shonda.

Ann

Not my real name because I am sure to get FLAMED! But Shondra, there ARE some of us out here who have NEVER slept with anyone but our husbands!!!!!

Thanks for an overall, great show.

Jen

"Yes, we all want to lick him inappropriately."
